Our History

Founded in 1965 as Custom Sprinkler Systems by Lewis New, Shamgar grew into the premier utility contractor for Southeast Georgia, All South Utilities. In 2003, John took over All South Utilities and renamed the business Shamgar Construction. In 2016, John filed articles of incorporation and now proudly serves Georgia as Shamgar, Inc.

Our team is ready to take on your project with enthusiasm and passion. We are dedicated to building quality utility infrastructure whether it be new construction or rehabilitation/addition to a current system. At Shamgar, we are more than a team, we are a family.

We specialize in municipal water, sewer, storm, as well as waste water treatment.
